Why Toads are Valuable in the Garden

If you spot a toad or frog in your yard then that's a great indicator of a clean and balanced environment. Though toads feed on native plants their main food source are the insect populations which may thrive right there in your yard.

Plants and shrubbery also provide toads with cover to hide from predators while they prey on beetles, slugs, crickets, flies, ants and many other invertebrates; some toads will even eat snakes and rodents.

Toads are incredibly valuable to any yard and/or garden as they are natural pest control. Attracting a toad population to your property can be a good move.
